CREATIVE GENIUS: MYSTERIOUS MR RIOS

Original Painting
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Original Size: 36" × 48" (91.4 × 121.9 cm)

Mysterious Mr Rios represents a different side of the Creative Genius series because, rather than looking toward a famous figure who has influenced me, I turn the same exploration inward. I see creativity as something built through curiosity, experience, experimentation, and the willingness to move between different worlds—from painting and design to construction, music, geometry, science, philosophy, and spirituality. My creative process is shaped by constantly questioning how seemingly unrelated ideas might connect and become something new. The word Mysterious reflects the parts of ourselves that we are still discovering, including abilities, ideas, and possibilities that have not yet fully revealed themselves. By placing myself among the Creative Genius subjects, I am not claiming to have already achieved what the other figures accomplished; instead, I am acknowledging the creative potential that inspired me to paint them in the first place. This painting represents the belief that creative genius is not only something we admire in history—it is something we can search for, develop, and discover within ourselves.

My work is born from the intersection of nature, science, history, philosophy, psychology, spirituality, and sacred geometry. I am fascinated by the patterns, symbols, and invisible connections that exist between living beings. Through abstraction and symbolism, I seek to create paintings that invite the viewer to pause, question what they observe, and discover their own interpretations.
