EL K-TER PILL

Original Painting
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Original Size: 24" × 36" (61 × 91.4 cm)

El K-TER Pill is one of the more playful and mischievous characters in ELALES. Part bug, part fairy, part creature, the character was inspired by a friend and built around transformation, unpredictability, and wordplay. The name plays with “caterpillar,” while the letter K can suggest chaos. The character can also be viewed after being rotated 180 degrees, allowing its appearance and personality to shift depending on how it is seen. Like a caterpillar transforming into something entirely different, El K-TER Pill represents change—but not necessarily serious or orderly change. It is transformation with humor, mischief, and unpredictability.

My work is born from the intersection of nature, science, history, philosophy, psychology, spirituality, and sacred geometry. I am fascinated by the patterns, symbols, and invisible connections that exist between living beings. Through abstraction and symbolism, I seek to create paintings that invite the viewer to pause, question what they observe, and discover their own interpretations.
