LA REINA SANCE

Original Painting
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Original Size: 36" × 36" (91.4 × 91.4 cm)

La Reina Sance represents rebirth, transformation, and the strange relationship between endings and beginnings. The butterfly imagery connects the character to metamorphosis: a creature must leave one form behind before another can emerge. Her name plays with ideas surrounding séance and Renaissance—two very different concepts connected through death, return, renewal, and transformation. Light and darkness coexist within the character rather than functioning as simple opposites. As the Queen of Rebirth within ELALES, La Reina Sance represents the idea that endings are not always final. Sometimes they are the conditions that allow something entirely new to begin.

My work is born from the intersection of nature, science, history, philosophy, psychology, spirituality, and sacred geometry. I am fascinated by the patterns, symbols, and invisible connections that exist between living beings. Through abstraction and symbolism, I seek to create paintings that invite the viewer to pause, question what they observe, and discover their own interpretations.
