THROUGH DIMENSIONS: FLAMINGO

Original Painting
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Original Size: 24" × 36" (61 × 91.4 cm)

Through Dimensions: Flamingo explores the idea of a single subject existing across multiple spaces, perspectives, and realities at the same time. A flamingo moves through the composition while a geometric grid divides the canvas into separate sections, almost like windows into different dimensions. Although the figure remains connected, each section changes the way it is seen—colors shift, forms disappear and reappear, and parts of the body seem to exist under different visual conditions. The natural, flowing shape of the flamingo contrasts with the rigid geometry of the grid. Its curved neck and body move across these boundaries, creating a tension between something living and something structured. From a distance, the viewer recognizes the complete figure, while up close, individual sections begin to function almost like abstract paintings of their own. Through Dimensions: Flamingo represents the idea that something can move through different realities, perspectives, and states while still remaining connected to the same whole.

My work is born from the intersection of nature, science, history, philosophy, psychology, spirituality, and sacred geometry. I am fascinated by the patterns, symbols, and invisible connections that exist between living beings. Through abstraction and symbolism, I seek to create paintings that invite the viewer to pause, question what they observe, and discover their own interpretations.
